Deze fotoreportage hoort bij dit verhaal.
De eerste kinderen staan al te wachten als de circuswagens het terrein op rijden.
Als de caravans op hun plaats staan, begint het leven in 'het dorp'...
En kunnen de kinderen gaan kaarten.
De nacht valt.
's Morgens om acht uur gaan de Poolse tentbouwers aan het werk.
In de stromende regen.
Directeur De Vrind controleert of de kabels de dieseltank en de accu's niet beschadigen.
Eén van de artiesten haalt water.
De artiesten helpen mee om de tent in orde te krijgen voor de voorstelling.
Ondertussen gaat het leven in de caravans ook door.
Mr. George oefent zijn Diaboloact.
Zijn vader oefent geconcentreerd met een jonge duif.
De kassa gaat open.
Directeur De Vrind verkoopt kaartjes.
Een tentbouwer rust uit voor de televisie.
Ontspannen overleg voor de voorstelling.
Eén van de tentbouwers is ook dierenverzorger en poetst de pony voor de voorstelling.
De eerste nieuwsgierige kinderen kijken stiekem in de tent.
Tijdens de voorstelling wordt er veelvuldig gefotografeerd met de mobiele telefoons.
Zelfs de circusdirecteur maakt tijdens de voorstelling een foto.
Miss Katrine maakt haar handen stroef voor haar trapeze act.
Kinderen kijken gespannen toe.
In de pauze draait clown Picolina suikerspinnen.
Direct na de voorstelling wordt de piste opgeruimd.
En helpt iedereen mee om de de tent in de vrachtauto's te stoppen.
