Mag ik van mijn stoel vallen?
De soap rondom de energiebedrijven...
Ik begrijp het even helemaal niet meer. Wij verkopen in Nederland de bedrijven NUON en Essent. Daarvoor worden volgens mij al sinds jaar en dag twee belangrijke redenen voor genoemd.
1. Marktwerking. Dat zou goed zijn voor de consument.
2. Schaalvergroting. Als zelfstandige bedrijven zouden ze het niet redden.
En dan begint de verwarring.
1. We verkopen NUON aan een Zweeds staatsbedrijf. Dat heeft volgens mij weinig met marktwerking te maken.
2. Ik lees vandaag op teletekst van Omroep Gelderland dat Apeldoorn een eigen energiebedrijf wil beginnen.
Hoezo eigen energiebedrijf? Ehhh... heeft een gemeentelijk energiebedrijf iets met marktwerking te maken? Ennuhhhh... is Apeldoorn dan zo groot dat ze de strijd aan kan gaan met de Gazproms van deze wereld?
Wie mij kan uitleggen wat voor energieklucht hier wordt opgevoerd, nodig ik uit voor een kop sterke koffie. Bij mij is onderhand het licht uit. Hoe ongeloofwaardig kun je jezelf maken als overheid?

APELDOORN - Apeldoorn overweegt een eigen energiebedrijf op te zetten die de hele stad van energie moet gaan voorzien. De gemeente voert momenteel onderzoek uit naar de diverse mogelijkheden.
Apeldoorn heeft als doelstelling in 2020 een energieneutrale stad te zijn en het opzetten van een lokaal duurzaam energiebedrijf kan daar behoorlijk aan bijdragen.
De resultaten van het onderzoek worden begin juli verwacht.
