Zorgpremie omhoog
het was te verwachten...
Wie met een beetje gezond verstand de introductie van de nieuwe zorgverzekering heeft gevolgd, kon het op zijn klompen aanvoelen komen... de premie moet fors omhoog.
De enorme advertentiecampagnes moeten worden terugverdiend en daarom wordt het nu tijd om te cashen. Ik meen mij te herinneren dat minister Hans Hoogervorst in de Kamer iets had toegezegd dat de polissen niet onder de kostprijs mochten worden aangeboden. Nu wordt duidelijk dat het wel is gebeurd. Uiteraard volgen er geen sancites.
Bovendien blijkt dat veel mensen hun premie helemaal of gedeeltelijk niet betalen en daar mogen de brave burgers voor gaan opdraaien. De verzekeraars verhalen de nog niet betaalde premies op de rest van de verzekerden.
Ik ben erg voor solidariteit, maar als je het draagvlak voor solidariteit helemaal om zeep wilt halen, is dit dé manier. Hier heb ik geen begrip voor. Wanbetalers moeten gewoon worden aangepakt. Of de overheid moet een systeem bedenken - zoals vroeger met de ziekenfondspremie - waarbij de betaling in het salaris of de uitkering wordt verrekend.
