Partij voor de Vrijheid
De nieuwe partij van Geert Wilders...
De kogel is door de afgescheiden kerk. Geert Wilders heeft de naam van zijn nieuwe politieke partij bekendgemaakt. De Partij voor de Vrijheid, afgekort als PVV (waarschijnlijk omdat de url www.PvdV.nl leidt naar de site van een makelaardij Peters $ Van der Vloodt BV... een site die zich mag verheugen op veel bezoek in de komende tijd).
Wilders heeft de naam gekozen om een plaagstoot uit te delen naar de VVD. De vraag is of dat wel zo'n slimme zet is. De liberalen hebben slechte ervaringen met de naam PvdV. Eind 1945 verenigden de liberalen zich in de PvdV. de Partij van de Vrijheid was niet echt succesvol bij de verkiezingen van 1946 en hield het niet langer dan twee jaar uit voordat ze fuseerde met de voormalig vrijzinnig-democraten tot de nieuwe VVD.
Geert Wilders mag hopen dat zijn PvdV meer succes heeft en een langer leven beschoren is.
